Wedge Construction Ltd. is a family run business operating for over 35 years in the city of Chatham, in which the owners Clare and Pete DeJonge were born and raised. Pride and loyalty were instilled in them at a young age by their father Harry, a retired home builder. Two younger brothers are also actively involved in the construction industry.

We are long time members of the local Home Builders' Association and have served in different capacities. Community involvement is also important. We are proud to be able to sponsor various soccer and hockey teams, as well as Special Olympics and Co-operative Education programs.

What distinguishes us from other builders is that we have been in the same region for over 35 years, work with second generation trades and predominately build on speculation.

As for our customer service philosophy we ensure all our customers concerns, are immediately addressed. Thanks to our loyal conscientious sub-trades and suppliers, we can achieve this. We all take pride in what we do, making sure these concerns are taken care of, even after warranties have expired.

To ensure after sales service , we employ professional sub-trades who stand behind their work and deal with suppliers who stand behind their product so that if something were to go wrong, the problem is corrected with-out the customer getting caught in the middle.

We listen to our customers and we are not afraid to admit that we make errors. Our main goal is to earn the respect of our customers and provide a home that will give them many trouble free, happy years.
